Global Leadership Organization enhances the world by empowering passionate individuals with the skills they need to create change.
We believe that with right attitude and skills, people can drive tangible results and leave legacies that transcend our individual lives.
Global Leadership Organization was founded in 2012 by Teddy Liaw. Originally, GLO launched its first Leadership Training Summit at UC Berkeley. Attendees from over 30 organizations and 8 states attended.
Shortly thereafter, the program was brought overseas to Taiwan, pioneered and organized by 2 summit alums who wanted to expand the program. In a remarkably short period, former attendees have launched the program at UC Berkeley, Columbia University, UT Austin, Boston University, UCLA, and University of Maryland. GLO has held 3 programs in Asia.
The manifestation of GLO started much earlier as the curriculum was designed by Teddy Liaw over 15+ years, and had been taught in separate modules for years.
Teddy formerly was a motivational speaker and frequently toured at camps, high school assemblies and professional conferences. He is currently the CEO at NexRep, an SF-based technology service company. He has led $100MM+ businesses in the Silicon Valley, including LiveOps, which was listed by SF Gate as a top-15 bay area company.
Through skills, GLO hopes to help create leadership movements throughout the world, create social advocates, and empower “Social Transformative Leaders” to make the world a better place.
Today, GLO has spread its training to students and adults throughout the world, impacting many nonprofit and for-profit organizations. GLO activates and then enables people to be successful leaders in their social and professional communities, and is creating an international community of like-minded individuals who want to leave positive legacies in the world.

“I HAVE LEARNED TO STRIVE TO LEAVE A LEGACY.”
I have been blessed with the opportunity of being a part of something that transcends organization itself–a promise and guarantee of lifelong friendship and unconditional support from the ever-expanding GLO family. Through GLO, I have learned that every individual has the potential to become a leader and a positive influence to society around him or her. Through GLO, I have learned to strive to leave a legacy. Stepping over and into the GLO community is stepping past a line–the line between dreams and reality.” – Stefanie Wang
